Mayflower Seafood Restaurant: Authentic Chinese Seafood Delicacies in Los Angeles

We had lunch here last month. The restaurant is half a mile or 9 minutes walk from the LA Union Square Station. The food is great. Their House Special Garlic Lobster is so flavorful. The Fried Fish is crunchy on the outside and soft and moist in the inside. It was so delicious. We also love the House Special Fried Rice. They gave a complimentary tapioca dessert. The owner and staff were very friendly. They accept credit card payment. The ambiance it ok. It looks better than other restaurant in the area.

a succulent chinese meal! the lunch special prices are excellent (especially for downtown LA!), the portions are huge, and every meal comes with a big glass of green tea and a sweet tapioca pudding for dessert. great atmosphere/decor, great service, great food. highly recommend to anyone looking to get a meal near Union Station or anyone looking to get a meal in general :)

Very good Chinese food. It was a bit hard to communicate with the waitresses though as they were not fluent in English. The place could also use some renovation.

Best place for a lunch special. I came here during lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food that I received. I got one of the shrimp specials and it reminded me of old school Chinese food. Plenty food, great flavor, even better prices In addition you get tea and a desert. The owner was super helpful and the staff was attentive. This a place favored by all who come here. And anytime I’m in town I’m going to eat here

Talk about a glow-up! Mayflower now accepts ALL credit cards and the service/dining experience is 10x better since my first time eating here in 2008. There’s convenient street parking and the area is well-lit with plenty of neighboring restaurants. As for the food, WOW! Authentic and delicious Chinese food is difficult to find. But the prices are even more amazing.

Nice Chinese restaurant with a Filipino twist. I believe the owner is Chinese but culturally he is from the Philippines hence the Filipino music and Manny Pacquiao shrine. The owner was walking around greeting people. The chow fun was decent. I did enjoy the fried fish and chicken dish. It was my second time there and I would come back to try their other Chinese dishes. The prices were affordable and the lunch menu had food selections.

Another little hidden gem in China Town Los Angeles. It is hard to describe how they serve the community unnoticeable do decades. Best Cantonese style restaurant in LA period. Family runs restaurant for decades in the heart of China Town. It reminded me how my grandparents treated me as a kid. Great selections of lunch specials.
